It's Thursday night, or Friday morning, if you prefer.
I am unable to sleep. It's past 4 in the morning. Not amused! I have to work normal hours tomorrow as well, so no chance at catching up on lost sleep during the day! Bleh, I can handle it, I just won't be much fun to be around.
Since I last blogged, I have come back from beautiful Canada, back to here. That was pretty horrible. Especially whilst being sleep deprived that my stupid old computer decided that it wanted to die, along with all my pictures and other sentimental artefacts that I had acquired. After a lot of money was spent, I managed to get back all my crap onto an external hard drive, and I ended up with a nifty little computer, but I would have appreciated the lack of breaking and continuity of a working computer. Oh well.
My second day back at work, I found my supervisors and immediately booked more time off of work in February for almost two weeks. That evening, I booked my return flight to Canada, to see my beautiful guy again.
He's been spending time on his visa this week, which is pretty ace, because it means that we're closer to being together and can start living. I'm excited about not going to sleep by myself again, that was probably one of the most painful things, that first night alone again. After the third night, I was back to feeling normal, but that's not always a fun feeling.
Work is okay. I went through a period of hating it with a passion, but I seem to like it again (except for today). This week I managed to spend a good amount of time in fluoroscopy. Here's hoping for more time, because it really is a lot of fun!
Theatres tomorrow. Blech. It's so dull and bores me.
